Overview
Fatimode ("we", "us", "our") develops the Reference Table Manager add-in for Microsoft Excel. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data our add-in accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
Data We Do NOT Collect
Reference Table Manager is designed with a privacy-first architecture. We want to be unambiguous about this:
- We do not collect, transmit, or store your spreadsheet data. All reference table data is persisted locally within your workbook using the Excel Settings API.
- We do not track your usage or behaviour inside the add-in.
- We do not use analytics, cookies, or tracking pixels within the add-in task pane.
- We do not sell or share personal data with any third parties.
Data That Stays in Your Workbook
All reference tables, column definitions, and row data you create within the add-in are stored exclusively in your Excel workbook using the native Settings API. This means:
- Your data travels with the workbook file (.xlsx).
- Your data is accessible only to people who have access to the workbook itself.
- No data is sent to any external server, database, or cloud service operated by Fatimode.
License Validation
The add-in may perform local licence key validation to determine your tier (Free, Pro, or Enterprise). Licence keys are stored locally within the workbook settings and are not transmitted externally. In future versions, if online licence validation is introduced, this policy will be updated accordingly before that feature is enabled.
Microsoft AppSource & Office.js
Reference Table Manager is distributed through Microsoft AppSource and runs within the Office.js framework. Microsoft may independently collect telemetry data related to add-in usage as described in their own privacy policies. We do not control or have access to any data collected by Microsoft. Please refer to Microsoft's Privacy Statement for details on their data practices.
Future Features
We plan to introduce optional features such as a Template Marketplace and Master Database synchronisation in future versions. If any feature requires transmitting data externally, we will update this privacy policy in advance and clearly disclose what data is involved, where it is sent, and how it is protected. Any such features will require explicit user opt-in.
Children's Privacy
Reference Table Manager is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Terms of Service
By installing and using Reference Table Manager, you agree to the following terms:
Licence Grant
Fatimode grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Reference Table Manager add-in in accordance with your subscription tier (Free, Pro, or Enterprise). The Free tier is available at no cost with functionality limitations as described on the product page.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the add-in; attempt to bypass or circumvent licence tier restrictions; redistribute, sublicence, or resell the add-in; or use the add-in for any unlawful purpose.
Data Responsibility
Since all data is stored locally within your workbook, you are responsible for backing up your workbook files. Fatimode is not responsible for data loss resulting from workbook corruption, accidental deletion, or any other cause outside our control.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The add-in is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fatimode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the add-in.
Updates & Modifications
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the add-in or any of its features at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
